The Department of Industry and Commerce of Jawzjan province in northern Afghanistan has announced that 1,000 jeribs of land (200 hectares) has been allocated for the establishment of an industrial park in the province’s Khwaja Dokoh district.

According to Amac News: Based on Afghan media reports, the department wrote today, Sunday, January 26, that this measure was taken with the aim of strengthening industrial infrastructure, economic development, and attracting investment in the province.
Officials of the department emphasized that the Afghan government has provided all necessary facilities for investors so that this project can be implemented and put into operation as soon as possible.
According to officials of the Khwaja Dokoh district industrial park, this project can provide the basis for the production of various goods, increase exports, and reduce dependence on imports.
Local officials believe that the implementation of this project will not only contribute to the economic development of Jawzjan province, but will also increase general welfare and reduce unemployment among the residents of this region.
They have called on investors and businessmen to take advantage of the opportunities created in this industrial park and contribute to the economic development of the province.
Officials in Jawzjan province emphasize that supporting development projects and attracting investment are among the main priorities of the government's economic programs.
