Afghanistan's Ministry of Mines and Petroleum says that officials of Com Group and Airil companies in Uzbekistan have met with Hedayatullah Badri, the head of the ministry.
According to Amac News: The Ministry of Mines and Petroleum of Afghanistan said in a newsletter that during this meeting, the officials of these companies expressed their interest in investing in mines, especially the Tuti gas block in Jawzjan province.
While welcoming the officials of these companies, Badri said that the Ministry of Mines and Petroleum of Afghanistan is trying to encourage national and international investors to invest in Afghanistan in order to grow the country's economy and create more job opportunities.
