The World Food Program (WFP) said in a statement that more than 12 million people in Afghanistan need urgent food aid.
According to Amac News: The World Food Program published a notice on X's social page and wrote that about four million children, infants and nursing mothers are malnourished in Afghanistan.
This institution said that it urgently needs 677 million dollars of funding to continue its activities in the next six months.
Meanwhile, the World Food Program said in June of this year that a quarter of Afghans go to bed hungry and called for an increase in funding to help the needy.
