Sale of Panjshir’s emerald worth 1.5 million dollars
According to Amac News: Bakhtar state media quoted this directorate and wrote that nearly 162 thousand dollars from the sale of these emeralds have been delivered to the Afghan treasury.
According to Bakhtar, state media, this amount of emeralds have been sold in more than eleven auctions to domestic and foreign businessmen in six months.
The Ministry of Mines and Petroleum of Afghanistan announced two months ago that during the last year, they have registered about 1,700 emerald mining sites in Panjshir province.
The caretaker government of Afghanistan has accelerated the extraction and sale of various minerals, including oil and gas, and precious stones such as emeralds.
